Suite Life of Zach and Cody

Review
Okay I admit it. I really enjoy watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Its hilarious antics are pure, clean fun. There’s no foul language, no sexual innuendos, and there always seems to be an underlying lesson to be learned.

There’s the hotel heiress (London) who has the common sense of a carrot, the candy-counter girl (Maddie) who is both smart and funny, the uptight hotel manager (Mr. Moseby) who just so happens to be London’s surrogate father, the weird, but loveable hotel handyman (Arwin), the dumb-witted bell boy (Esteban), and the twins: one book smart and one street-smart.

In this particular DVD, you get three episodes: Band in Boston which has friends turning against one another in hopes of reaching fame and fortune, Election which turns brother against brother in an all out war to win the role of President, and Not So Suite 16 which has two best friends (complete opposites of one another in both status and character) competing against each other for the best birthday bash ever.

Your Task
Take time out of your busy schedule to sit back, relax, and watch a humorous episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Then talk to your kids about the best way to handle rejection, competition, and dreams. Talk to them on their level. Tell them about a time when you weren’t too proud of how you behaved and what you learned from that experience. Ask them how they could have handled things differently and then listen to their answers. Don’t correct them if you don’t like what they have to say, but ask more questions to get a better understanding of why they felt that way. Then end the evening with Brenda Song’s Trivia Knowledge Test—found on the DVD.
